Anne Marie Duff

Anne-Marie Duff (born in England) is an English actor and narration. Duff began her career in television at the end of 1990s, after she graduated from Drama Centre London. She is an English stage and screen actress. The actress became well-known for her character Fiona Gallagher in the first two seasons UK TV series Shameless. The Virgin Queen (2006) was her first appearance as her role as Queen Elizabeth II. In 2015, the series From Darkness featured her as the lead character. Duff played roles in films such as Enigma 2001 The Magdalene Sisters French Film 2008. The Last Station Nowhere Boy Before I go to Sleep (2015) and Suffragette. The actress was nominated for BAFTA awards in Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, and Best Actress in Shameless The Virgin Queen. In addition to this she won the BAFTA Cymru Award in Best Actress in 2007 for the TV film The History of Mr Polly. Anne-Marie Duff excels as an English award-winning actress. Her work has seen her perform in the theater, on television and in radio equally well. Her fame was largely due to her roles in the role of Fiona Gallagher on the British comedy drama television show Shameless as well as The Queen Elizabeth as Queen Elizabeth in The Virgin Queen. Anne-Marie also has a long performance history on stage as well as extensive involvement for the Royal National Theatre.
